DIvine Soul Retreats

  Awaken Your Inner Smile

Quiet reflection of life through yoga & meditation

A gentle, restorative retreat in the stunning South Hams, at the Soul Potential Holistic Health and Wellbeing Centre, South Pool.

Balance, let go and reflect upon the cycles of nature in preparation for the winter months ahead.  This gentle, nurturing retreat will allow you to draw your attention inwards.  Reflect on the past year and the impermanence of life, with yoga postures, meditative practices, vibrational medicine and guided coaching exercises that encourage deep introspection and acceptance.

Setting the scene

Autumn is a time for letting go, a time for gentle, personal reflection and gratitude, for the blessings (or lessons) received. As the trees allow their leaves to fall gracefully to the ground when they are no longer needed, this deeply nourishing autumn retreat will allow you to gently release any issues that no longer serve you, and guide you towards unlocking the inner resources that will move you forward.

The Soul Potential Holistic Health and Wellbeing Centre boasts a stunning, purpose-built yoga and meditation studio - a light and airy space with stunning views across the neighbouring valley. The centre's magnificent gardens, private orchard and wooded area invite quiet, mindful contemplation, whilst the centre's two adjoining fields  offer brisk, refreshing walks with gorgeous views across both the Salcombe and Frogmore estuaries.

Wholesome food & healthy juices

We will provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner for the duration of your retreat; usually served buffet style.

Our deliciously wholesome vegetarian or vegan food, will be freshly prepared by either the Soul Potential retreat centre staff or our own in-house chef.

Fresh fruit and healthy snacks, pure spring water (from the centre's very own well) and hot beverages will also be available throughout your stay.

As part of our 'karma yoga' philosophy, guests may be asked to assist Suzi or Donna with the preparation of evening meals each night, on a rota basis.

The ethos of our retreats is one of collaboration and mutual support. We, therefore, kindly request that guests help tidy up the kitchen and the communal areas after each mealtime.

There is a friendly local pub 10 minutes walk down the lane, should you wish to go out in the evening after practice.  However we kindly request that no alcohol is brought into the retreat centre during your stay and ask that you drink in moderation.

If you have any dietary requirements please let us know at the time of booking, so that we can accommodate your personal preferences.

Delightful accommodation

Your accommodation for the retreat is based on twin, double (and one single) accommodation, with ensuite or shared bathroom facilities.  Two of the bedrooms are located within a separate barn, offering more private, self-catering facilities if required.

If you are travelling with friends, please let us know at the time of booking, so that you can stay together if this is your preference. Otherwise, you will be paired with a retreat participant of the same gender in a shared room.

If you wish to have single occupancy, please let us know at the time of booking. Whilst this cannot always be guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate your needs (single occupancy incurs an additional charge unless it is within the designated single room).

There is a large, comfortable lounge for guests to relax in during the evening and a large, communal kitchen with additional sofa (and beautiful window seat overlooking the front garden) .

The dining room is located in a bright, sunny conservatory, which also has a piano available for musically-inspired guests to play if they wish.

Please note:

The self-catering barn (which sleeps 3) is also home to two friendly resident cats, Bob and Mollie.  If you have an allergy to cat fur and therefore require a pet-free environment please let us know at the time of making your booking, so that you can be accommodated within the main house (subject to availability).
